WineFest is one of the annual fundraising events for The 500, Inc, a volunteer organization that has supported more than 35 local arts organizations over the past 40+ years.

 

The 500, Inc. is looking for volunteers to help with WineFest 2011.  We are seeking people to help on the night of the event.  Areas of volunteering include Setup, Admissions, Auction, Wine Pouring, Floaters, and Takedown.

As you may be aware, these days many non-profit groups are experiencing lagging donations and funding shortfalls .... The 500, Inc. is no exception.  We are a non-profit organization that relies on our volunteers to raise the money we use to support the arts in Dallas County.  We couldn't achieve our goals without our valuable volunteers.  But in these tough economic times, we find that we must lean even more on our volunteers and ask them to help make WineFest 2011 profitable.  If you would like to volunteer -- and gain admission to such a tasty and spirited event -- we are asking you to pay $15; this is more than 50% off of the advance ticket price.
